Have you signed a health insurance contract with one of the following insurers, and are you registered with De Kraamvogel (Noord-Holland)? If so, certain things will change in 2018. Unfortunately for 2018 we do not have a contract with the following health insurers:
This could mean that you may not be fully compensated by your health insurer for maternity care hours. The rates applicable for this differ per insurer. Therefore, please thoroughly check beforehand with your insurer what the best option is for you.
There are various options for you as a customer of the above-named health insurers:
A. Change to a different insurer
We do have contracts with all other insurers in The Netherlands. You could choose to change to one of these insurers. Please also thoroughly check what your additional policy offers as compensation for maternity care hours. This can change per insurer.
Do you want to change to a different insurer? Please do so before 1 January 2018. Please also inform our customer care department of your change on 088 77 88 500 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
B. Stay with your current insurer
If you choose this option and stay with one of the above-named insurers for 2018, it is important to thoroughly check with your insurer which policy you have and what additional terms you can count on. Please note you can still make changes to your policy before 1 January 2018.
You are still able to receive maternity care from us if you have a contract with one of the above-mentioned insurers. Wherever possible we will arrange to invoice your insurer directly. If direct invoicing to the insurer is not possible or is only partially possible, you will receive an invoice from us which must be settled. Our customer care department can provide you with more information about this.
Please contact our customer care department. They will explain to you what the options are in your specific situation and what you must organise with your insurer before 1 January 2018. Should you decide not to choose our maternity care, you can still contact our customer care department.
